Piero Ballen
Integrative Therapist

Piero comes with more than fifteen years of experience across healthcare, wellness, and integrative care environments. He has extensive professional and academic preparation in integrative healthcare and patient-centered care, with certified studies in Integrative Oncology and Healthcare Leadership through Mayo Clinic, as well as studies in Gerontology, Integrative Health, Mindfulness, and Energy-Based Modalities through Florida International University. He also completed certificate-level professional studies in Massage Therapy through Broward College and is currently pursuing a degree in Health Services Administration at Florida International University, with a focus on healthcare leadership, systems development, and integrative wellness program design. Throughout his career, Piero has focused on developing and delivering integrative care models that support patients, residents, family members, caregivers, and staff members. He is widely recognized across facilities for his compassionate presence, calm communication style, and ability to foster trust and emotional safety. In addition to direct therapeutic support, he brings leadership experience through the development and support of wellness initiatives, collaboration with interdisciplinary teams, and contribution to sustainable integrative therapy services within healthcare settings. Outside of his professional role, Piero values music, the arts, and lifelong learning. He has formal studies in Opera and Vocal Performance, which inform his work through breath awareness, presence, and emotional regulation. He enjoys traveling and cultural experiences, is bilingual and fluent in English and Spanish, and grounds his work in professionalism, empathy, and a genuine commitment to improving quality of life and wellbeing for the communities he serves.
